Signing Group

Signing is an important part of successful communication for many people.  As part of the communication strategy we want to get more people signing.

We have chosen to use Signalong because

• Signalong is based on British  Sign Language (BSL)
• Signalong is used with speech not instead of speech
• Signalong has signs for lots of things, people and places
• Signalong are always producing new signs that people need

Signalong helps people to

• Understand what people say
• Express their needs and choices
• Feel better about themselves
• Be more independent
